표현 1) 신세계를 맛보게 해 주겠다며 캐리와 샬롯을 성인용품샵에 데려간 미란다. 바이브레이터가 92달러라고? 

 

- Carrie : $92?

- Miranda : Please! think about the money we spend on shoes.

우리가 구두 사는데

- Charlotte : I have no intention of using that.

표현 3) 브룩의 결혼식에서 만난 남성 제리와 뉴욕의 한 인기 있는 식당에서 데이트를 하러 온 사만다. 

그런데 이 남자, 뭔가 냄새가 구리구리 하다...?

 

- Carrie (Narration) :  Jerry, who Samantha met at Brooke’s wedding...

브룩 결혼식에서 만난 제리가

took her to Lava, New York’s restaurant du jour.

사만다를 최고급 식당인

라바에 데려갔다

**du jour : 요즘 아주 인기 있는 [중요한] / 어느 특정한 날을 위한 예문) This age group is the target group du jour. 이 연령대가 요즘 아주 중요한 목표 집단이다.

 

- Jerry : From the moment I saw you at that wedding, I knew we’d be having dinner together.

표현 4) 레스토랑에 오자마자 다른 여자를 쫓아가 꼬시고 있는 제리를 보며 사만다는 낙담하고, 

한숨을 푹 쉬며 집에 돌아가려고 하던 그때! 고약한 입냄새와 대담한 투자로 유명한 버니 터틀 탑을 조우한다.  

 

- Bernie Turtletaub : Samantha? Hey, Samantha!

사만다? 사만다!

저예요, 결혼식 때 만난

버니 터틀 탑이요

 

- Samantha : Oh, right.

맞아요

 

- Bernie Turtletaub : Are you here all by yourself?
